AI Disclosures

Last updated: October 7, 2026 · Version 2026-10-07

TuaniBiz uses artificial intelligence (AI) to build websites and to answer people on behalf of the businesses that use it. This page explains where AI is used, how you can tell, what it cannot do, how to reach a person, and what happens to what you say to it.

Where AI is used

Talking with people

  • Website chat. The assistant on a business's website is AI. It answers questions from the business's website and what the business has told us, can take your details so the business can contact you, and can book appointments.
  • Facebook and Instagram. When a business turns it on, AI replies to messages sent to the business's accounts and may like or reply to comments on its posts.
  • The phone receptionist. When a business uses our AI receptionist, calls to its TuaniBiz number are answered by AI. It can answer questions, book appointments, take messages and block spam calls.
  • Calls to a business's own team. Emergency alerts and announced transfers that our system places to a business's team members use an AI-generated voice.
  • Our own sales texts. When we follow up with a business that agreed to receive our texts, they may be written and sent by TuaniBiz's AI assistant. A person from our team can read the conversation and step in.

Creating content

  • Websites. We use AI to write the text of the websites we build, to choose and edit photos, and to create some images. Some images may be AI-generated illustrations rather than photographs of the business's own work.
  • Articles and social posts. AI writes blog articles for business websites, including a few when a site is built and, for businesses that turn it on, one a week. It drafts social media posts, which are published only after the business approves them.
  • Reviews. We do not use AI to write customer reviews or testimonials. Review sections show real reviews, such as those on the business's Google profile, and our review requests offer every customer the link to leave a public Google review.

Helping businesses run

AI helps business owners inside their dashboard: Tuani IA, our dashboard assistant, answers questions and carries out the tasks the owner asks for; the sales coach suggests which customers to follow up with; the receptionist's owner mode reports on the business by phone; and AI drafts the statement a business can send when a customer disputes a card payment. We also use AI to translate, to summarize calls and to watch for security threats.

How you can tell

  • The website chat is labeled as an AI assistant, and its first message says so.
  • Automated replies on Facebook and Instagram say that they are automated.
  • On a call, the receptionist plays a short notice and introduces itself as the business's AI assistant.
  • Our sales texts introduce themselves as TuaniBiz's AI assistant.
  • If you ask any of our assistants whether you are talking to a person or a machine, it will tell you it is AI. Businesses may not instruct our assistants to claim to be human.

Reaching a person

  • On a website or social media: ask the assistant to have someone contact you and leave your details, or use the phone number or email address on the business's website.
  • On a call: ask the receptionist to take a message for the team. If the business has set it up, the receptionist can also put you through to a team member.
  • By text with TuaniBiz: a person from our team can read and answer the conversation. Reply STOP at any time to stop our texts.
  • Business owners: Tuani IA can open a support ticket, and our team answers it in the same chat.

What AI cannot do

  • AI can make mistakes. It answers from the business's website and the information the business gave us, which can be incomplete or out of date. Confirm anything important, such as a price, an appointment, a policy or a guarantee, directly with the business.
  • Our assistants are not designed to give medical, legal, financial or other professional advice, and nothing they say is such advice.
  • In an emergency, call 911. For a gas leak, fire, flood or other danger, call 911 or your utility first, before contacting a business.
  • Our assistants have no authority to make promises on a business's behalf beyond its own prices, hours and booking rules.
  • TuaniBiz is not designed for health information. Please do not share health details with an assistant.

What happens to what you say

  • Calls: the audio is processed in real time to hold the conversation. We keep a written transcript and summary of the call, but not an audio recording.
  • Chats, texts and social messages: they are saved so the business, or our team for our own sales texts, can see the conversation.
  • The business sees the conversations its assistants have, and the messages and bookings they take.
  • How long we keep each of these is in our Privacy Policy. To ask for a copy of your information, or for it to be deleted, use our Privacy Center.

The AI providers we use

  • OpenAI: website chat and social replies, the phone receptionist's voice, call transcripts and summaries, translations, our dashboard and support assistants, the sales assistant, images, and security analysis.
  • xAI: a backup voice for the phone receptionist if the main one is unavailable.
  • Google (Gemini): website text and design, choosing photos, and our internal tools.
  • ElevenLabs: our former voice provider, still connected to some older receptionist setups.

What each provider receives is listed on our Subprocessors page.
